The IT4IT™ Standard, Version 3 is available to all free-of-charge to download for non-commercial use, which usually means using it inside your organization. To use the IT4IT Standard for commercial purposes, a Commercial License is available.
How do I download the IT4IT Standard?
Follow the instructions on this page to download the IT4IT™ Standard, Version 3 in various formats. Once you have registered you can immediately download it.
Downloading as an IT4IT Forum Member
If your organization is a member of The Open Group IT4IT Forum, you may download and use the IT4IT Standard internally under a personal annual Member License. If you wish to distribute the IT4IT Standard within your organization see the Commercial and Non-Commercial licenses below.
The download procedure:
- Check the IT4IT Standard, Version 3 Member Licensing Conditions; then
- Register and download the IT4IT Standard, Version 3 under a Perpetual Member License (you will need to supply your existing Open Group ID and password)
Downloading as a Non-Member
You may download the IT4IT Standard, Version 3 under a free, personal, 90-day Evaluation License; and you may then go on to use it internally under a free, perpetual Non-Commercial License, if you wish. Alternatively, you may take out an annual Commercial License.
Applying for the IT4IT Standard, Version 3 Evaluation License
The download procedure:
- Check the IT4IT Standard, Version 3 Evaluation Licensing Conditions; then
- Register and download the IT4IT Standard, Version 3 under a 90-day Evaluation License
If you download the IT4IT Standard, you are presumed to have read and accepted the IT4IT Standard, Version 3 Evaluation Licensing Conditions. There is no need to complete and submit the license.
After the Evaluation Period
After expiry of the 90-day evaluation period you should apply for a more permanent License:
- A free, perpetual Non-Commercial License is available to Corporate, Academic Institutions, and Individuals wanting to use the IT4IT Standard, Version 3 entirely for internal purposes
- An annual Commercial License is available for organizations wishing to exploit the IT4IT Standard, Version 3 commercially
You are under no obligation to take out any of these licenses. However, if you decline, you will be obliged to send an email confirming that you have removed the IT4IT Standard, Version 3 documentation from your machine.
