    Q: How long have you been involved with The Open Group?

    Since 2006 when I first attended the Barcelona conference.

    Q. What do you do, and how long have you been doing it?

    I am an Enterprise Architect helping organizations setting up their EA capability, but must most often I implement and support enterprise architectures.

    I am the co-chair of the SOA Work Group and has been in that position for many years.

    I am also involved in the work with TOGAF Next since it started.

    Q: Why did your organization become a member and what does your involvement look like? What Forum(s) or Work Group(s) did join?

    We are very interested in the Architecture Forum and many of our employee are very keen on digging deeper into the world of TOGAF.

    Q: How has membership in The Open Group benefited you, your organization and the industry at large?

    These days many customers are asking for TOGAF knowledge and certifications. The membership will enable us to show our customers that we are indeed dedicated to the understanding and development of architecture knowledge both within and external to our organization.

    Q: What contributions do you hope to bring to The Open Group?

    Our knowledge from architecture engagements within large government organizations and EU projects could help to enhance TOGAF with the usage of enterprise architecture in large organizations.

    Q: Why is it important for other organizations to join The Open Group?

    Being part of the Open Group and the Architecture Forum gives us a platform for learning from the peers and experts in enterprise architecture and at the same time contributing our thoughts and knowledge into a best-practice framework.

    Q: What book are you currently reading?

    Jason Bloomberg: The Agile Architecture Revolution. It’s a great book on a great subject, i.e. how to make your architecture agile!!

    The Open Group as a community of likeminded souls is great place to grow in knowledge, discussion capability and modesty. Your soon realize you are among peers and that there always are people you can learn from.Biography – what information do want to share with other members?

    I am an Enterprise Architect (TOGAF & IAF certified) specializing in Enterprise Architecture and SOA within large enterprises. I have has been working in a variety of sectors such as Government, Telco, Supply Chain and Defense either transforming them to Enterprise Architecture work practices or leading and performing enterprise architecture work.
